People of Color Thriving While Healing

Mondays, February 25th - April 22nd, The NW Network is so excited to be offering a session of Thriving While Healing specifically for Black and Indigenous people and people of color (BIPOC) in our community.

Queer and trans people of color face unique challenges when it comes to their experiences of surviving sexual violence and seeking support. Racism magnifies the stigma and complex feelings of silence and shame that many survivors experience.

This session of Thriving While Healing is a nine-week-long psychoeducational peer support group for QTPOC survivors of sexual violence to gather around the unique impacts of those experiences. Through conversation, art, and body-centered practice in a free and confidential space, participants build peer support and strengthen their skills for healing after sexual assault and abuse. For more information and registration, please give us a call at 206-568-7777 or email elizabeth@nwnetwork.org.
