IS THIS GROUP FOR ME?
Sexual violence looks many different ways. Sexual assault happens when a person is forced, coerced, pressured, or manipulated into unwanted sexual activities or contact. No one is entitled to sexual contact with you without your
permission or consent, regardless of your relationship with them or their position of power—not a teacher, parent, elder, partner, or friend.
These experiences can be confusing and isolating, especially for queer and trans teens. If you’re not sure if your experi-ence was sexual assault or abuse, that’s okay. We’re here to talk with you about it and offer support.
Our LGBTQ+ communities are diverse, way more so than we could ever fit here. Do you find yourself in the plus sign? Not sure yet? However you identify, we got you.
