The Northwest Network of Bisexual, Trans, Lesbian and Gay Survivors of Abuse’s presents:
A Mini-Relationship Skills Class Series on Poly/Nonmonogamous Relationships.
This is a two week course exploring the skills we need to build the non-monogamous relationships we want.
The goal is to offer information and skills for folks who are interested in building relationships outside of a monogamous model. Our focus will not be on a philosophical discussion of different models of non-monogamy, polyamory and open relationships and their individual strengths and challenges (though we will present information in regards to these experiences), but rather on how to self-reflect, build skills and develop a model of relationship that works for you! We are expecting a myriad of experiences to be present in the class – from folks who have years of practice in open relationships to people just beginning to think about how to integrate this into their lives.
Topics include: Negotiation, Handling Jealousy, Setting Boundaries, Practical Skills, Staying Connected & So Much More!
Wednesdays, March 15th & 22nd 2017 6:00-8:30pm @ The Northwest Network Community Engagement Center: 3818 South Angeline Street, Seattle, WA 98118
This class is open to: Bisexual people & their friends & loved ones. Trans people & their friends & loved ones. Other LGBTQ people and is open to all regardless of relationship status or history
