Youth Talkback

  • NW Network Community Engagement Center 3818 South Angeline Street Seattle, WA, 98118 United States

OutSpoken Speakers Bureau and the Northwest Network’s Leadership Board, have put together a series of panels for our community.  We believe it is important, now more than ever, to educate providers and adult allies about the experiences and needs of LGBTQ young people.

This first panel will be brought to you in conjunction with What’s Your Issue?, a nation-wide LGBTQ research program.  This panel will focus on the intersections between homelessness/unstable housing and queerness.  Come and hear personal narratives and concerns directly from our LGBTQ youth leaders.  We will also have time for a robust Q&A and discussion afterward.

The first panel we are putting on will be held at The Northwest Network’s Community Engagement Center, located beneath Columbia City’s Church of Hope in south Seattle.  Below are the details and attached is the flier for the event.  Please be sure to RSVP as there will be limited seating.
