API Chaya & The Northwest Network Presents: GRRL, We Got You! A 7-week strategy and exploration lab on community responses to violence. 

What skills and conditions do we need to practice accountability? How do we prevent and respond to violence in a way that will create the connection and healing that's necessary for our liberation? When so many of our communities cannot trust the cops or courts, how can we build the power in our communities to end violence? Come learn and explore with API Chaya and The Northwest Network of Bisexual, Trans, Lesbian and Gay Surivovrs of Abuse.

An overview of Transformative Justice & Community Accountability
Safety Planning & Accessing Harm in Relationships
Accountability & Wellness Mapping
Engaging Allies & Organizing to Shift Power

The series will be held on MONDAYS from 6- 8:30 PM at the Gay City Calamus Auditorium; 517 East Pike Street. Classes start on October 17 and run until November 28th, 2016.
